MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 20, 2008 <br />Allan questioned the need for concrete curb and gutter. The City's policy <br />for reconstructed roadways was discussed. <br />Upon motion by Allan, seconded by McGraw, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2008-2-45 -ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. <br />2008-06, BEAMAVENUE BYRECONSTRUCTED ROAD SURFACE, <br />CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER, WATER MAIN, AND DRAINAGE <br />ENHANCEMENTS„ AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER <br />TO PROCEED WITH THE PREPARATION OF PLANS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />IMP. NO. Mayor Blesener opened the public hearing to consider the improvement <br />2008-07 - of the Water Works Trail Storm Sewer repair. <br />WATER <br />WORKS The City Engineer presented a detailed report relative to the needed <br />TRAIL repair of the storm sewer pipe which crosses the St. Paul Water Works <br />STORM Trail near 153 East Little Canada Road. It was noted that the estimated <br />SEWER cost of this improvement is $9,300.00. Given that nearly all the drainage <br /> conveyed by this pipe comes from the apartment complex at 153 Little <br /> Canada Road, that is the sole property proposed to be assessed for this <br /> improvement. <br />There was no one present wishing to comment on the proposed <br />improvement. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by Allan, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2008-2-46 -ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. <br />2008-07, WATER WORKS TRAIL STORM SEWER REPAIR, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PROCEED WITH THE <br />PREPARATION OF PLANS <br />
