An Interim Ordinance establishing a moratorium relating to certain property within the City of Little Canada. (A) Purpose and Intent, The City of Little Canada has adopted a Comprehensive Plan and Official Controls, pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 462.351 and following, and the Little Canada City Council has authorized staff to conduct a study and to analyze existing uses, proposed uses, and existing zoning of the property described below within the City of Little Canada, fui the purpose of considering amendments to the Comprehensive Plan or Official Controls relating to the property described below. (B) Pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 462.355, subd. 4, this interim ordinance, for the purpose of protecting the planning process and the health, safety, and welfare of Little Canada citizens, hereby prohibits the development, subdivision, and the issuance of certificates of occupancy and issuance of permits, including, but not limited to, building permits, filling permits, and grading permits, relative to the following described property located within the City of Little Canada: (1) PIN No. 08 29,22 31 0011, also known as the Turnquist Property, and (2) P 4 No. 08 29 22 32 0010, also known as the Palmen Property. (C) This interim ordinance establishes a moratorium, as provided herein, which shall expire on , if not extended or repealed prior to that time.
