• Page 2 December 27, 2001 Here is where the situation stands: The City Council approved a Conditional Use Permit for a 22'X25' garage (550sf) at their August 22 meeting. I was unable to attend this meeting due to complications from hip surgery. Not only is this garage way too small but would require frost footings that add several thousand dollars to the cost. We would like to revisit the matter, amending the CUP in such a fashion so as to allow to us to build a larger garage that is economically feasible and aesthetically consistent with the neighborhood. On the last point, I have assembled several photographs showing other accessory buildings in the area that have a far higher building to lot ratio than what we are contemplating. We would deeply appreciate your consideration and review of these circumstances. We are sure that there must be a mutually satisfactory solution that can be achieved with your help.
