Hanson <br />Attached is a memo I received regarding the possible closure of the Ramsey County Suburban Court in <br />Maplewood. This issue has potential impacts on us resulting from ease of access (versus St. Paul) for our <br />City Attorney, Law Enforcement Personnel, and Citizens. There is also a statutory provision that requires <br />Ramsey County to maintain a suburban court setting. <br />At this point, I wanted to make you aware of this issue and provide you the opportunity to provide any <br />direction you feel is necessary to address this topic. I have also asked the City Attorney to be prepared to <br />provide you with his perspective on this issue at Wednesday's meeting. <br />
