MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 9, 2012 <br />The consensus was that this issue should be discussed when the full <br />Council is present either at a regular meeting or at a workshop. The <br />Administrator indicated that he would schedule this item for discussion in <br />the near future. <br />CANADIAN The City Clerk reported that the Canadian Days Committee has made <br />DAYS application for a temporary liquor license for the August 3 -5, 2012 <br />TEMPORARY Canadian Days Celebration. Application materials are in order, and <br />LIQUOR Liquor Liability insurance is pending. The Clerk noted that Canadian <br />LICENSE Days has submitted the rules that they will follow in providing liquor at <br />the Canadian Days Celebration. <br />Blesener noted that one of the objectives of LCRA is to get their liquor <br />rules closer in alignment with those enforced by the Canadian Days <br />Committee. <br />Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -5 -83 — APPROVING THE TEMPORARY <br />LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE CANADIAN DAYS COMMITTEE FOR <br />THEIR AUGUST 3 -5, 2012 CELEBRATION PENDING RECEIPT OF <br />SATISFACTORY LIQUOR LIABILITY INSURANCE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ADJOURN Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -5 -84 — ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (0).
