MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 25, 2026 <br />Motion by Miller, seconded by Gutierrez, to nominate Kwapick as Vice President. <br />There were no other nominations. <br />Motion by Malone, seconded by Miller, to nominate Malone as Treasurer. <br />There were no other nominations. <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. EDA-2026-2-2 — APPOINTING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />A UTHORITY OFFICER ROLES WITH FISCHER AS PRESIDENT, KWAPICK AS VICE <br />PRESIDENT, AND MALONE AS TREASURER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ADOPT 2026 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BUDGET <br />The Community Development Director presented the proposed 2026 EDA budget, noting that the City <br />Council approved the EDA to have an annual budget of up to $30,000 as part of the annual budgeting <br />process. <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. EDA-2026-2-3 — APPROVING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />A UTHORITY B UDGET FOR 2026 FOR $30, 000 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0).
