REASONS NOT TO BUILD ON LOW ELEVATIONS
OF LOT
fA
1. Avoid construction on eastern half of the lot due to deep swap
deposits and ground water close to the surface.
2. Excavation and soils replacement is not feasible on the eastern
half of the lot due to the depth of soils needed to be replaced
and the existence of ground water near the surface.
NOTE: Soils Engineer's Report recommends the soil
replacement as the means to provide a means of house support.
3. Soils on eastern half of lot will not support a structure and is not
suitable for house construction.
4. Entire lot elevations would need to be raised, Significant
increase in fill and grading would be required.
NOTE: Estimate fill on the order of several thousand square
yards of fill.
