The loan is a 6% annual <br />rate with a term up to15 years. Borrowers may receive up to $25,000 up to <br />one or two unit property, or $10,000 per unit for larger properties for a <br />maximum of $100,000. This is a program of the Minnesota Housing <br />Finance Agency (MHFA). <br />Senior Housing Regeneration Program <br />The Senior Housing Regeneration Program is specifically for older adults <br />who are considering selling their single - family homes. This program helps <br />seniors by making their home transition as hassle -free as possible for <br />them and their families. For the Senior Housing Regeneration Program, <br />the Greater Metropolitan Housing. Corporation. (GMHC) purchases the <br />home at its fair market value and sells it to a first -time homebuyer. The <br />seniors who participate benefit because they are free from making needed . <br />repairs or holding open houses.
