MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING PLANNING COMMISSION LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA DECEMBER 11, 2003 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the llth day of December, 2003 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. John Keis Mr. Scott Barraclough Mr. Tom Duray Mr. Tom Roycraft Mr. Tom Wojcik Ms. Kathy Weihe ABSENT: Mr. Dan Knudsen ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner Mr. Jeremy Brodin, Cable TV Prod. Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk MINUTES The November 13, 2003 Planning Commission minutes were approved as submitted. CUP FOR Dick Boss appeared before the Commission requesting approval of a GARAGE — Conditional Use Permit allowing a second garage as well as total garage 57 BRYAN space over 1,000 square feet. Boss reported that he has reviewed the AVENUE — recommendations of the City Planner and would meet the 30 foot side DICK BOSS yard setback from Boss Road. Boss pointed out that the most westerly building on his property is actually smaller than indicated by the Planner, and is 22 feet by 14 feet. Boss also reported that he is in support of the vacation of 10 feet of Boss Road, which would resolve the fact that his most westerly building straddles the lot line. Boss pointed out that the right -of -way for Boss Road is 60 feet, and the City's standard for residential roads is now 50 feet. With regard to the easterly building on his property, Boss reported that it would be removed.
