MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JULY 10, 2003 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of <br />July, 2003 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br />the following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll <br />call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Tom Roycraft <br />Ms. Kathy Weihe <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Lee Elfering, City Engineer <br />Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />Mr. Jeremy Brodin, Cable TV Prod. <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />MINUTES The minutes of the June 12, 2003 Planning Commission meeting was <br />approved as submitted. <br />AMEND Mr. Mike Melloy, Coliseum Billiards, appeared before the Commission <br />CUP — requesting to extend his hours of operation from a 2 a.m. closing time <br />2900 RICE to 4 a.m. Melloy reported that the most of the billiard halls Coliseum <br />STREET — Billiards competes with have 4 a.m. closing times. Melloy reported that <br />COLISEUM the 4 a.m. closing time provides an opportunity for people working second <br />BILLIARDS third shifts to play billiards after work, as well as provides later hours for <br />those people who just wish to stay out later. <br />Keis noted the listing provided by Mr. Melloy of billiard halls with 4 a.m. <br />closing times, and asked if there were any billiard halls nearby that have 2 <br />a.m. closings. Melloy thought that Louie's in North St. Paul may have a 2 <br />
