Hanson <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Little Canada and the Little Canada <br />Economic Development Authority (EDA) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at <br />7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of' the Little Canada City Center located at 515 Little Canada <br />Road, Little Canada, Minnesota, regarding a proposed business subsidy to be granted by the EDA <br />and City to District Council #82 or a related entity under Minnesota Statutes, Sections 1161.993 to <br />1161.994. The proposed subsidy involves the use of City /EDA assistance to offset higher site <br />development costs associated with poor soil conditions. Repayment to the City and EDA will be <br />accomplished through tax increment financing assistance. The assistance is expected to facilitate <br />development of approximately 57,000 square feet of a new office /training facility building. This <br />development is included in the Tax Increment Financing District No. 2 -2. <br />Information about the proposed business subsidy and a copy of the draft business subsidy agreements <br />for each recipient are available for inspection at the City Center during regular business hours. <br />All interested persons may appear and be heard orally and in writing. <br />Dated: July 3, 2003 <br />Joel R.
