MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JULY 10, 2003 <br />setback on one side for homes constructed prior to 1980. Therefore, the <br />subdivision as presented complies with the current ordinance. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Knudsen recommended approval of the property division of 525 LaBore <br />Road as requested subject to compliance with the recommendations of the <br />City Planner. <br />Motion seconded by Wojcik. <br />Motion carried 5 — 0. <br />REVISED Mr. Jesse Anesi, Aldi Foods, appeared before the Commission requesting <br />FINAL approval of a revised Final Plat which creates an outlot that is intended to <br />PLAT — be combined with the Bally's property. Anesi reviewed the <br />ALDI recommendations of the City Engineer and indicated that they will comply <br />FOODS with these recommendations and will provide all easements being <br />requested. <br />Duray asked the status of the Bally's sign located on Rice Street. Anesi <br />reported that the Bally's sign will be relocated to the proposed outlot. It is <br />intended that this outlot will be combined with the Bally's property, <br />therefore, eliminating the concern for an off - premise sign. Anesi <br />submitted a letter from a survey indicating that Ramsey County is <br />agreeable to the combination of the outlot with the Bally's property. <br />The City Engineer reported that there was still a concern with the storm <br />water outlet for the proposed pond on this property. However, the <br />applicant is working on resolving those concerns. <br />There was no one else from the general public present wishing to <br />comment on this matter. <br />Keis recommended approval of the revised Final Plat for Schroeder's Rice <br />Street Second Addition (Aldi Foods) subject to compliance with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner and the City Engineer. <br />Motion seconded by Duray. <br />Motion carried 5 — 0. <br />- 3 - <br />
