Green Co Honorable Mayor and City Council City of Little Canada 515 Little Canada Road East Little Canada, MN 55117 -1633 RE: DRYWALL SUPPLY ADDITION Dear Mayor and Council Members: mpany As requested, we have reviewed the resubmitted package for the proposed Drywall Supply Addition site located off of Country Drive. The submittal documents were prepared by Anderson Engineering of Minnesota, LLC, and included a preliminary plat, a site plan, grading plan, utility plan, and landscape plan. Drainage calculations were also submitted. All comments from our previous reviews have been addressed within the new submittal. The site drainage calculations appear to accurately represent the pre- existing and post- construction site and have been verified. Correspondence from the Ramsey Washington Watershed was also provided that indicated no pretreatment of storm water is necessary prior to discharge from the site. The City was originally requiring that all existing watermain be completely removed from the site. The developer expressed concerns with the amount of blacktop that would need to be replaced if full removal of the watermain was to take place and requested we allow abandoning of the watermain in- place. The existing watermain should be removed a minimum of 15 -feet from all public street right -of- way or drainage and utility easements. Any watermain in excess of 15 -feet from the right -of -way or easements can be abandoned in- place. Detailed as- builts indicating the location of the abandoned watermain will need to be provided to the City after construction is complete.
