MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 24, 2003 <br />TEXT <br />AMENDMENT - <br />MASSAGE <br />THERAPY <br />Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />.RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -6- 135 — APPROVING THE <br />DEVELOPMENT STAGE AND FINAL STAGE PUD TO ALLOW <br />DEVELOPMENT OF AN 57,000 SQUARE FOOT OFFICE AND <br />TRAINING FACILITY FOR THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF <br />PAINTERS & ALLIED TRADES DISTRICT COUNCIL 82 SUBJECT <br />TO RESOLUTION OF PARKING AND TRAFFIC FLOW <br />CONCERNS AS DISCUSSED THIS EVENING, SUBJECT TO MR. <br />CARL JOHNSON ENTERING INTO A DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY WITH THAT AGREEMENT TO <br />ADDRESS THE ISSUE OF SHARED PARKING, SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY <br />PLANNER AND THE CITY ENGINEER, AND SUBJECT TO THE <br />CITY ENGINEER'S COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF THE <br />DRYWALL SUPPLY ADDITION DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS TO <br />ENSURE THAT THE ENTIRE SITE WORKS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Anderson, Montour, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider a text amendment for <br />the General Business (B -3) Zoning District allowing massage therapy <br />businesses as a Conditional Use. The Planning Commission has <br />recommended approval of the text amendment. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Anderson, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Anderson introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5 47 — AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION <br />912 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE, KNOWN AS THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE, BY PROVIDING FOR MASSAGE THERAPY <br />AS A CONDITIONAL USE IN THE 13 -3, GENERAL BUSINESS <br />DISTRICT <br />11 <br />
