Hanson Pursuant to our meeting of May 14, 2003, I am writing to document our proposal to resolve the drainage problem that is impacting your neighbor, Mr. Ed Anderson. Specifically, the two ponds largely contained within your property will be connected via a drainage swale. This swale will create an outlet for the westerly pond thereby minimizing the impact to Mr. Anderson. The City is willing to construct this swale upon our existing drainage easement. We will use city forces and equipment. We estimate the cost of this work to be approximately $4,845 based on the work itemization attached to this letter. We would ask that you split this cost on a 50/50 basis with us. Should you prove successful in your pursuit of funding through the Ramsey/Washington Metro Watershed District, then our expectation that their participation would be equally applied to both of our respective shares. Please indicate your acceptance of the terms of our proposal by signing a copy of this letter and retuming it to me by no later than June 11". Upon receipt, we will schedule the project into our work schedule as soon as practical and in no case later than August 31, 2003. (We may be able to address it in the next couple of weeks if the weather cooperates.)
