COMMUNITY PRIDE
1953 - 2003
515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
(651) 766 -4029 / FAX: (651) 766-4048
www.cilittle-canaclasno.us
[MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Fahey & Members of the City Council
FROM: Greg Schroeder, Public Works Director
DATE: June 4, 2003
RE: Vacation of Proposed Aamel [states Easement
MAYOR
Michael 1. Fahey-
COUNCIL
Jim L avalle
Matt Anderson
Rick Montour
Bill Blesener
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
As shown on the attached sketch, there is a 10 -foot wide easement along the south property line of lot 3 (Parcel D) of
the proposed Hamel Estates. It is my understanding that this lot is to be combined with the lots to the south to create
a development. It is also my understanding that the final plat for the proposed development will include easements
over all utilities and a 6 -foot wide utility and drainage easement around all proposed lots. In addition, the City of
Little Canada does not have any utilities within the existing easement to be vacated.
Based on the above staff recommends that the easement along the south property line of lot 3 (Parcel D) be
vacated.
H.'_Clr gS \Correspondet Greg S 2 0 0 311 131ml
des care:n og Fpolii
- 2 3 -
