Mr. Johnson has now amended his request to indicate other changes he <br />would like to pursue on the remaining property. The changes are as follows: <br />1. The office addition to the existing building is reduced from 4,500 square feet <br />to 2,400 square feet, to accommodate traffic past the building. <br />2. The future building planned for the southeast corner of the site has been <br />moved to the southwest corner, behind the existing storage building. The <br />original location was chosen to provide for screening of an outdoor storage <br />area along the south boundary of the property. The applicant is now <br />proposing to open the southeast corner of the site to outdoor storage, relying <br />on the remaining shed and the new District 82 building to provide the <br />screening. <br />3. Additional canopies and racks in the southeast corner of the site that will be <br />used for storage of several different types of construction - related materials, <br />including roofing, steel framing, lumber, and "other related products and <br />materials as needed ". Much of this area is that which was originally approved <br />for the additional building site. <br />It is staff's understanding that at least some of the materials proposed for storage on <br />this site are not a part of the Drywall Supply business, but are instead a separate <br />
