Planning staff would be concerned about the introduction <br />of a separate business operation on this site that is not related to a principal building. <br />The applicant should clarify this aspect of the proposed use prior to any approvals. <br />The area of outdoor storage would not likely be visible from the adjoining public street, <br />however, the City's objective in establishing the PUD zoning on this site was to control, <br />and where possible minimize, the amount of outdoor storage. The use of the racks and <br />canopies would indicate that some cover for the materials is preferred. Staff would <br />recommend that this objective is accomplished with a building, rather than covered <br />open storage. <br />
