MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MAY 8, 2003 <br />DRUMMER <br />PRELIMINARY <br />& FINAL PLAT <br />MARKET <br />PLACE <br />3RD ADDITION <br />ADJOURN <br />Keis pointed out that he saw no hardship to warrant the granting of a <br />variance. While he agreed that Rice Street is busy, he also noted that the <br />applicant could put a fence in front of the house without the need for a <br />variance. Duray also agreed that there was no hardship present. <br />Duray recommended denial of the Variance allowing encroachment of a <br />fence into the front yard area at 3020 Rice Street based on the fact that <br />there is no hardship present. <br />Motion seconded by Roycraft. <br />Motion carried 7 — 0. <br />The Commission reviewed the proposed Preliminary and Final Plat <br />for the Market Place 3"I Addition. The City Planner noted that the <br />property is being replatted so that a portion can be deeded to the City <br />for ponding area. <br />Wojcik recommended approval of the Preliminary and Final Plat for <br />Market Place 3"i Addition subject to compliance with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner and City Engineer. <br />Motion seconded by Weihe. <br />Motion carried 7 — 0. <br />Roycraft recommended that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motion seconded by Weihe. <br />Motion carried 7 — 0. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted„ <br />Kathy Glanz <br />Deputy Clerk <br />-6 <br />
