There is <br />no distinction in the code for massage therapy businesses. <br />Massage Parlor definition — any room or rooms where any person for a fee may receive from another <br />person a massage. <br />License fee - $3,000 <br />No license required for massage therapy associated with the practice of medicine, surgery, <br />osteopathic, chiropractic, physical therapy are excluded from regulation as are massage performed <br />incidental to athletic or physical training programs operated by athletic clubs, sports and health clubs, <br />educational institutions, athletic teams, manicurists, beauty culturists, hairdressers, or barbers <br />incidental to beautification services at the shops and places of business they operate. <br />Falcon Heights <br />Massage therapy businesses are allowed subject to licensing requirements. <br />License fee - $100. <br />No license required for massage therapy associated with the practice of medicine, surgery, <br />etc...(similar to Arden Hills). <br />Little Canada <br />Massage parlor allowed subject to licensing requirements. <br />License fee - $10,000. <br />Massage therapy licenses allowed as accessory uses to beauty salons and subject to licensing <br />requirements. <br />License fee - $100 /business, $75 /therapist. <br />
