BMP Name: Information brochure display at City Center <br />Unique ID: 1 -05 <br />MCM: #1 — Public Education and Outreach <br />Little Canecz, <br />commuri v PRIDE <br />1953 - 2003 <br />Description: <br />The City of Little Canada has information kiosks at the City Center that will be used to disseminate <br />printed educational material. <br />Justification: <br />Public education and outreach is a key minimum control measure and on of the most cost effective <br />methods to distribute information is through printed brochures located in the public area of the City <br />Center. <br />Responsible Staff /Position: <br />Public Works Director 651.766.4049 <br />Measurable Goals: <br />1. Count the number of brochures distributed annually. <br />2. Maintain and update City website explaining where the information can be found. <br />3. Acquire, produce, update and distribute flyers on a variety of storm water related topics for the <br />kiosk. <br />Implementation Schedule: <br />1. Establish tracking process and database for City storm water related display materials by March <br />2005. <br />2. Maintain City website and educational materials, annually. <br />Education Program/Public Outreach Component: <br />1. Audience or audiences: all City residents, youth groups, garden club groups, and visitors to City <br />Center. <br />2. Increased awareness: The flyers will educate the target audiences by giving them a good <br />understanding of a variety of water quality topics and how citizens can make a difference. <br />Annual Reporting Items: <br />1. Summarize attainment of Measurable Goals. <br />2.
