Fahey <br />COUNCIL <br />Jim LaValle <br />Matt Anderson <br />Rick Montour <br />Bill Blesener <br />ADM[N[STRATOR <br />Joel R. 1- Janson <br />I have reviewed the Ryan Drive Paving Pay Estimate No. 1 (Final) for Frattalone Paving, Inc. <br />This pay estimate is only for the placement of the bituminous surface on Ryan Drive. The road <br />excavation and base work was accomplished under a separate contract with Frattalone <br />Excavating and we are currently finalizing that pay estimate. The City Engineer has inspected <br />the work performed by Frattalone Paving, Inc. and finds it to be in compliance with the plans, <br />specifications, and contract documents. <br />The original contract amount for this paving is $37,720, however, 83 SY of additional paving <br />was needed at the east end of the project to enable the new pavement to tie into good existing <br />pavement. This on -site field decision for extra paving increase the contract amount by $830.00, <br />thus increasing the final contract amount to $38,550. <br />Based on the above, 1 recommend Council approval of Pay Estimate No. 1 (Final) in the <br />amount of $38,550. <br />H: \GregSWay Estimates \Pay Estimate No. I (Final) Frattalone I'aving.doc <br />
