CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2026-3-41 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY <br />FOR A TRAIL, SIDEWALK, DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT ASSOCIATED <br />WITH THE RICE STREET SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to install a sidewalk along the east side of Rice Street, from <br />approximately 400’ south of Demont Avenue to County Road C; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has committed to funding the project; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to acquire real property set out in <br />Exhibit A attached hereto. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE <br />CANADA, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. It is necessary, desirable, and in the public interest, to acquire the real property described <br />in Exhibit A, attached hereto, for a trail, sidewalk, drainage and utility easement associated with <br />the Rice Street Sidewalk Improvement Project. <br /> <br />2. The City Administrator and City Attorney, or such other persons as necessary, are hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute all necessary documents to acquire such real property. <br /> <br />3.
