<br />Types of items that could be reviewed by the Personnel Committee include: <br />• Review and provide recommendations to the City Council regarding personnel policies, <br />handbooks, organization procedures, and employee benefit offerings; <br />• Review proposed position descriptions, classifications, and compensation structures prior to <br />Council consideration; <br />• Participate in the final interview process of Department Directors as needed; <br />• Participate, as directed by the Council, in processes related to the evaluation of the City <br />Administrator and other appointed officials; <br />• Review staff conduct investigation findings and recommend disciplinary actions as needed; <br />• Serve as an advisory forum for discussion of employee relations, recruitment, and retention <br /> <br />Personnel Committee Feedback <br />In advance of City Council consideration, staff provided a similar memo and draft resolution to the <br />members of the Personnel Committee to review. Feedback was received, considered, and <br />modifications to the Resolution were made.
