<br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2026-3-45 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FORMATION OF A PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Little Canada recognizes the importance of effective <br />personnel management and consistent application of employment policies in ensuring a professional, <br />fair, and efficient organization; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds it beneficial to establish a committee to review personnel matters, <br />including but not limited to employment policies, employee benefit offerings, compensation and <br />classification; and <br />WHEREAS, historically, the City Council has appointed council members annually to a Personnel <br />Committee; and <br />NOW THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT, RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Little Canada Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. Establishment <br />A Personnel Committee is hereby established as an advisory body to the City Council of the City <br />of Little Canada. <br />2. Purpose <br />The Committee is an advisory body, tasked with ensuring that personnel topics are thoroughly <br />evaluated and appropriately documented before Council consideration. <br />3. Membership <br />The Committee shall consist of [two (2)] members of the City Council, with the Mayor always <br />serving as a member, and confirmed by the City Council annually. The City Administrator, <br />Assistant City Administrator, and City Clerk/HR Manager shall serve as staff liaisons and may <br />attend all meetings in an advisory capacity. <br />4. Meetings <br />a) Meetings shall be scheduled quarterly, or as needed at the call of the City Administrator or <br />Personnel Committee members. <br />
