Box 9161 <br />St. Paul, MN 55109 <br /> (612) 353-4646 <br />Robert@EpicMinnesota.com <br />www.EpicMinnesota.com <br /> <br />Little Canada Fire Department C/O Bill Dircks - City of Little Canada (Herein after “Buyer”) <br />Date: March 17, 2026 <br />Project Location: 325 Little Canada Rd E, Little Canada, MN 55117 <br />Project Overview: Joint Sealant Replacement & Options <br /> <br />Epic Masonry Restoration proposes to furnish all labor and material necessary to complete the following: <br /> <br />The Scope of Work for The Main Bid Is to Only Take Place on Vertical Control Joints, <br />Vehicle and Pedestrian Door/Window/Louver/Utility Meter Frame Abutments Located on <br />All Exterior Elevations as Indicated in Attached Pictures <br />Main Bid Price Allows for The Replacement of Existing Joint Sealants <br />The Scope of Work for Option #1 is to Only Take Place on Cracked/Spalled Brick and <br />Block, Detached/Deteriorated Mortar Joints and Mineral Staining Located on All Exterior <br />Elevations and 1 Monument Sign as Indicated in Attached Pictures <br />Option #1 Price Allows for Brick Replacement, Block Patching, Installation of up to 4 <br />Vertical Control Joints and Selective Tuckpointing and Chemical Cleaning <br />The Scope of Work for Option #2 is to Only Take Place on All Masonry Located on All <br />Exterior Elevations and 1 Monument Sign as Indicated in Attached Pictures <br />Option #2 Price Allows for The Application of a Clear Penetrating Sealer <br /> <br />Main Bid <br />Remove any existing joint sealants and install close color matching joint sealants (caulking) to <br />control water, stop erosion and saturation damage, prohibit moisture/pest penetration and prevent <br />plant growth <br />Perform final cleanup <br /> <br />Option #1 <br />Grind detached (exceeding 1/32”), deteriorated (exceeding 1/2" recessed) mortar joints/block <br />cracks, demolish cracked/spalled brick, cut in vertical control joints, clean areas to ensure proper <br />adhesion of replacement mortar and joint sealants, remove and dispose of debris <br />Tuckpoint all ground joints and replace all demolished brick with a premium close color <br />matching “Type N & S” mortar and brick to result in a uniform appearance and to <br />strengthen/seal the masonry wall system <br />Install close color matching joint sealants (caulking) to control water, stop erosion and saturation <br />damage, prohibit moisture/pest penetration and prevent plant growth <br />Patch off line block cracks with a 6500 PSI repair mortar <br />Wash all new brick mortar with a new masonry detergent <br />All mortar joints are to match the existing finish <br />Perform final cleanup
