• Q.) How long does a street typically last. <br />A.) The City Engineer stated that we usually expect a street to last about 20 years. <br />Curbing should last longer. <br />• Q.) Will the project take all summer to complete as noted in the handout materials? <br />• A.) Staff noted that the schedule in the materials covers all summer due to the other <br />projects involved. The City will limit the time for disruption for each project to a more <br />reasonable basis in the contract documents. <br />It was the unanimous consensus of those present that this work needed to be done. <br />The City Administrator stated this will project will be recommended to the City Council at their <br />meeting of November 20th• If the Council agrees, an improvement hearing will be held sometime <br />around mid- January. Notices will be sent to all affected parties. He then thanked those present <br />for taking the time this evening to visit about the project. <br />- 4 4 - <br />
