Hanson <br />Email: cityhall@ci .little - canada.mn.us <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Fahey and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Greg Schroeder, Public Works Director <br />DATE: May 18, 2001 <br />RE: Change Order for Pavers at St. John's Parking Lot <br />Due to the exceptional contract price for the Little Canada Road amenity project, the <br />Council requested that staff investigate the replacement of the colored exposed aggregate <br />concrete at St. John's Parking Lot with concrete pavers. <br />Based on the bid prices for each contract, it appears that the City would save about <br />$4,700 by installing concrete pavers instead of the exposed aggregate concrete for the <br />parking lot project. Therefore, we have initiated a change order with each contractor. <br />Unfortunately, we have not been able to finalize the actual savings to the City as of this <br />date. We will provide this information to the Council at Wednesday's meeting. <br />PAGE 127 <br />
