PROPERTY TO DETERMINE BOTH VALUE AND <br />USE OF THE SITE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator recommended that TIT Districts No. 1 -1 and 1 -2 <br />be closed and that proceeds from these funds be allocated under Option 1 <br />outlined in his memo dated November 17, 2000, The Administrator noted <br />that Option 2 involves the allocation of excess TIF dollars to land <br />acquisition costs associated with the Little Canada Road project since it <br />was somewhat questionable whether these dollars could go toward <br />streetscape amenities. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000 -11- 277 — AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER <br />OF FUNDS AND APPROVING THE DECERTIFICATION OF TAX <br />INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT N0. 1 -1 AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Pedersen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000 -11 -278 — AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER <br />OF FUNDS AND APPROVING THE DECERTIFICATION OF TAX <br />INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT N0. 1 -2 AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Council reviewed the application for renewal of bingo hall license <br />for the Little Canada Bingo Hall for the license period February 1, 2001 <br />through January 31, 2002. Morelan suggested that in preparation for next <br />year's renewal the staff look at what other cities are charging as license <br />fees for the issuance of gambling and bingo hall licenses.
