Task VI: Stakeholder Involvement <br />The Consultant will assist and coordinate with the project manager a stakeholder involvement <br />process. For this study, stakeholders are defined as the elected officials, the development <br />community, and staff from the study area cities /townships, the counties, the transit providers, the <br />Metropolitan Council, and Mn /DOT. <br />At a minimum, the Consultant will: <br />• Attend working meetings with city /township staff to obtain information, develop scenarios, <br />and discuss results. <br />• Facilitate a series of workshops, including, one to kick -off the study and the other to <br />present the scenario results. <br />• Develop presentation materials for staff presentations to city councils, township boards, <br />etc <br />Deliverable: Workshop and presentation materials. <br />Task VII: Issues Identification <br />The Consultant will work with stakeholders to identify potential issues (e.g., right -of -way <br />availability, downtown connection, trail & transit compatibility, exclusive facility versus shoulder bus <br />lane use, and the economic, social, & environmental impacts. <br />Task VIII: Implementation Strategy <br />The Consultant will work with local agency staff to develop an overall implementation strategy. This <br />implementation strategy will outline the broad next steps for implementing the study results. The <br />implementation strategy is intended to be broad and is not intended to outline individual steps for <br />each local agency. The responsibility for implementing the study results will remain the local <br />agencies. <br />Deliverable: Implementation strategy including an outline of the next steps and a matrix <br />identifying the agency roles and responsibilities. <br />Task IX: Study Report <br />The Consultant will produce 50 copies of a draft study report and 100 copies (80 hardcopies and 20 <br />CD Roms) of the final study report. The draft study report will be prepared with adequate time for <br />review and comment by the Study Management Team. The final study report will be produced in a <br />web ready format (e.g.. PDF). <br />Deliverable: 50 copies of the draft study report and 100 copies (80 hardcopies and 20 CD Roms) <br />of the final study report.
