Rice Street Crossings Redevelopment <br />• The relationship between land use and transportation. <br />• Access management. <br />Redevelopment — Ramsey County Maintenance Facility. The impending vacation of <br />this site by Ramsey County provides an opportunity for redevelopment. As indicated <br />earlier, Metro Transit is planning on using a portion of the site for the establishment of a <br />transit hub and park and ride facility. The remainder of the property would be <br />redeveloped in accordance with Shoreview's development objectives for this property. <br />Shoreview's Comprehensive Guide Plan designates the future land use of this site as <br />Mixed Use. The property is also designated as a Policy Development Area (PDA) and a <br />Targeted Redevelopment Area (TRA) through which policies have been established for <br />redevelopment. These policies are attached. <br />Urban Design Standards. Develop flexible and simple design standards that reflect <br />smart growth and will establish the framework for redevelopment.
