No
service stubs are shown on our maps, therefore, the applicant would have to connect
directly to our main.
> Sanitary Sewer
Metropolitan Council has a 36" diameter RCP sanitary sewer interceptor line that
follows the east right -of -way line at Spruce Street that could be connected to. The
applicant is advised to apply for a connection to this interceptor line a minimum of 4
weeks in advance to allow time for the needed approvals.
> Spruce Street
Spruce Street in general is in good condition. It was built to a 9 ton standard, but is
starting to show its age. Truck traffic to and from the proposed site during site
excavation has damaged the edge at their street entrance. This needs to be repaired.
> Storm Water
Blacktem Pond does not have a defined outlet. Therefore, caution should be used if
directing storm water to this pond.
Connection to the Spruce Street storm water system will require hydraulic
calculations to ensure the system is not being over loaded. Ramsey- Washington
Metro Watershed District approval should be obtained for this project.
H:Vessical \Greg S \Streets \Spruce PUD concept review.doc
Page 9
