MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
NOVEMBER 9, 2000
ADJOURN
property and his equipment and that everyone from Little Canada was
proud when they see a Frattalone truck on the road. However, he was not
sure this was the right site for this use. Montour asked what Frattalone
would do with his present site.
Frattalone indicated that the City has been looking at the possibility of
acquiring his property. The City Planner indicated that it was unlikely that
the City would use the entire site, and if it was purchased would divide off
and sell the excess property.
Barraclough felt that the concept was a good one and that the City should
work with Mr. Frattalone on upgrades to the building and landscaping.
Barraclough pointed out that Mr. Frattalone has been trying to sell the
property for the past two years, and that says to him that there is no market
for office/warehouse on this property. Barraclough felt that the City had
to look at the reality of the situation.
Mr. Barraclough recommended concept approval for the Frattalone PUD
site plan on property at the end of Spruce Street with the further
recommendation that the City work with Mr. Frattalone on additional
landscaping and building upgrade requirements.
Motion seconded by Kraemer.
Motion carried 5 — 1. Montour voted against.
Knudsen recommended that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Duray.
Motion carried 6 — 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
Respe dully submit ed,
Kathy Glanzer
Deputy Cleck
i
Page 26
