TWIN LAKE ROAD/TRAIL SURVEY COMMENTS
Defining the problem:
Parking too close to the 90 degree turns present a problem. Should be a 100 -foot
restriction on the narrower part of Twin Lake Road.
Have there been any complaints from the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department?
There is a problem if cars park on both sides or too close to the corners (there are three
90- degree turns on Twin Lake Road /Trail). It will be less of a problem if Twin Lake
Road is widened.
Only when people are holding some type of function.
The problem arises sometimes by a rental property that has very limited parking in the
driveway. It seems to happen only some times overnight or during weekends, when the
tenants have guests.
There have been cases of congestion on the east end of Twin Lake Road by the duplex
with cars parked on both sides of the road near each other.
Street parking is a problem along Twin Lake Road where the road is narrow. There is no
parking problem on wider Twin Lake Trail.
There is a real safety issue on Twin Lake Road
Cars parking on street near curves on Twin Lake Road eliminates one lane and are
potentially dangerous.
The duplex (3278 and 3280 Twin Lake Road) park their cars on the street. This is right
by a curve and is a bad place. Rest of Twin Lake Road and Trail is O.K.
Parking problem exists between 3283 Twin Lake Road and corner just east of this.
Some people park near the curves in the road. This makes it very difficult to get around
them.
Page 91
