It is too narrow a road to get past a car parked on the side, particularly in the winter. One
morning, no one from Twin Lake Trail could get out because two vehicles were parked
across from each other blocking the roadway. It is very frightening to think that
emergency vehicles cannot get through to us if they needed to.
Cars parked on road right at curves — also parking at times, people are parking on both
sides of the street at the residence of the party — and also in front of neighbors.
On street parking seems to be a problem mainly along Twin Lake Road. It has not been
too much of a problem on Twin Lake Trail.
Problem is very limited and occasional. In one plus year I have lived near end of Twin
Lake Trail, have had a problem maybe 3 or 4 times. Problem when people don't use
common sense and park on opposite sides leaving very little space to get through on the
street.
Yes, where the road narrows down on Twin Lake Road.
Choosing an option:
Park on one side of street and not close to the turns in the road. A duplex has parking
right before the curve. It's hard for buses to make the turns.
On Twin Lake Trail the road is wide enough, but on Twin Lake Road I doubt whether an
emergency vehicle could get through some times. Too narrow if you are going to allow
on street parking.
No parking on Twin Lake Road unless it is widened. The school buses cannot negotiate
turns and dodge parked cars on Twin Lake Road
At or near corners this still could be a problem, especially on slippery winter road
surfaces.
The visitors (rental property on Twin Lake Road) park on both sides of a street that is too
narrow to support this type of parking. Parking should be limited to one side of the street
only.
Page 92
