CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RESOLUTION VACATING LAKE STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY <br />WHEREAS, <br />The City Council of Little Canada has determined to vacate the following street right -of- <br />way: <br />Lake Street lying between Rice Street on the west and Park Street on the east. <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />A public hearing was held on October 10, 2001 before the City Council in the City <br />Center after due published and posted notice had been given by the City Administrator, a <br />reasonable attempt was made to give personal notice to all affected property owners, and <br />all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Any person, corporation, or city owning or controlling easements contained upon the <br />property vacated, reserves the right to continue maintaining the same or to enter upon <br />such way or portion thereof vacated to maintain, repair, replace, remove, or otherwise <br />attend thereto; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />It appears that it will be in the best interest of the City to vacate such street right -of -way; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Four -fifths of all members of the City Council concur in this resolution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the street right -of -way as described <br />below is hereby vacated: <br />Lake Street lying between Rice Street on the west and Park Street on the east. <br />Adopted by the Council this 10th day of October, 2001. <br />Approved: <br />Attest: <br />Toel R.
