Considering that the erection of roof signs is presently prohibited by the ordinance, this <br />application presents an opportunity to address this nonconforming condition. It is <br />therefore recommended that the roof sign be relocated to the west building wall of the <br />retail center. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the preceding review, it is the opinion of our office that the proposed wall <br />signage modification will not negatively impact the area and therefore recommend <br />approval of the conditional use permit subject to the following conditions. <br />1. The existing roof sign be relocated to the west building wall of the retail center. <br />2. The applicant secure a sign permit prior to the erection of the proposed wall <br />signage. <br />cc.
