Mr. Steve
Grittman explained that RB zoning is a transitional type zoning
which allows single family, two- family and limited business uses
under a conditional use permit. B -3 zoning is a. general business
district.
Mr. BLesener pointed out that under RB zoning, minor auto repair is
not allowed and under B -3 zoning, the Zoch's residential use would
be non- conforming.
Mrs. Scalze pointed out that the Council knows what the Zoch's want
to do with the property and asked the best way to do this. The Planner
stated that he felt the 3 -3 zone would be most appropriate. The
Planner stated chat the 3 -3 zoning would Limit the Zoch's in case they
wanted to expand their house.
The City Clerk stated that at the time the east side of Conduit was
rezoned, it was the concensus of the Council that at some time the
west side of Conduit could request another zoning other than R -L.
The Planner pointed out that the Comprehensive plan mentions RB zoning
for west of Conduit.
Mrs.. Zoch pointed out that there are auto body businesses across the
street.
Mr. Fahey introduced the, following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION `]0. 85 -5 -243 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC
' HEARING ON THE ZOCH REZONING REQUEST
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs..
