WHEREAS, these agencies have formed a partnership to address these changes <br />and pro - actively plan for the Rice Street /Interstate 694 interchange area; and <br />WHEREAS, Requests for Qualifications were sought from qualified planning and <br />transportation consultants; and <br />WHEREAS, Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc. was selected via a selection process <br />to facilitate this study in accordance with Exhibits A and B; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUALY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />I. That the City shall serve as the project manager and administer the attached <br />contract in Exhibit A with the Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc. to carry out the <br />scope of services outlined in Exhibit B. <br />2. The cost of services provided by Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc. in accordance <br />with the attached contract (Exhibit A) is $52,000.00. This cost of services <br />includes work as outlined in the scope of services (Exhibit B). Both the cost of <br />services and scope of services may be modified only through the agreement of all <br />participating agencies and Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc, <br />3. Based on the cost of services above, Little Canada agrees to reimburse the City <br />for its share of the study. This share has been determined to be five (5) percent <br />of the project cost or a maximum of $2,600.00. The maximum cost may change <br />only if the scope of services is modified as indicated above. <br />4. Little Canada will be billed for these cost of services at the conclusion of <br />Hoisington Koegler Groups, Inc. work and receipt of the planning process and <br />results document. <br />5. Little Canada shall be responsible for the following: <br />a. The assembly of background information including, but not limited to: <br />i. Base mapping information for the study area and surrounding area <br />(in digital form whenever possible) to include parcel boundaries, <br />parcel data from assessor, topography, natural features and surface <br />water features, infrastructure and any other information that may <br />be useful in understanding the conditions that exist within or near <br />the study area <br />ii. Relevant studies and plans affecting the study area and <br />surrounding area including comprehensive plans and zoning <br />ordinances from each city, plans for approved or pending projects <br />affecting the study area, transportation and roadway improvement <br />plans for state, county and local roads (including traffic volume <br />information), existing and future transit service plans, and other <br />plans and studies that may influence development within the study <br />area <br />iii. Studies and plans for the watershed management organization, <br />local and regional park and trail plans, and other information <br />Page 172 <br />
