"Customer Owned Group V" rate. The second lift of asphalt for the <br />bituminous roadway is to be completed by Developers no later than July 1, <br />2002. Original plans and subsequent changes for said improvements shall be <br />prepared by Susan Fussel of Metro Land Surveying & Engineering, Inc., and <br />approved by the City Engineer in accordance with City specifications and <br />standards. Developers shall also be responsible for the restoration of any <br />damage caused to existing improvements by their project. Said restoration <br />shall be to the City's standards. <br />6. Pre- construction Meeting. Prior to the commencement of work, <br />Developers or their engineer shall schedule a pre- construction meeting to <br />be held at the Little Canada City Center at a mutually agreeable date and <br />time. Said meeting shall include all parties concerned, including, but not <br />limited to, City staff, City Engineer, Developers' engineer, Developers' <br />contractor(s), Developers' builder, and affected utilities. The purpose of <br />this meeting will be to review the work program for construction to achieve <br />a coordinated approach. <br />7. Inspection and Staking. Developers shall instruct their engineer <br />to provide adequate field inspection personnel to ensure the project is <br />constructed in accordance with approved plans and specifications. In <br />addition, the City's Engineer, at Developers' expense, shall also inspect <br />the construction of the improvements for the purpose of certifying the same <br />and recommending acceptance of any public improvements by City. Developers <br />shall also complete construction staking for the project at their expense. <br />8. Easements. The Developers will dedicate easements as necessary <br />for the construction and existence of public improvements pursuant to City <br />requirements. At a minimum, the Developers will dedicate a 50 -foot wide <br />street, drainage, and utility right -of -way for the extension of Leeward Way <br />Page 103 <br />
