Distribution System, Leak Detection, and Repairs
The City of Little Canada closely monitors water pumping duration, system
pressures, and water tower levels to help identify problems with our system. Any
suspect leakage is checked and pinpointed for repair. Repairs of leaks and broken
mains are done as early as practicable after discovery. With aggressive detection
and repair, the City of Little Canada will reduce our unaccounted -for water and
water losses in general.
SECTION E. Education and Information Programs
The City of Little Canada does not have a past or present program to educate their
customers about water use and water conservation. At present, there are no definite plans
to implement a community education program in the near future.
Public Education/Information
The City of Little Canada does present water conservation information in its bi-
monthly newsletter "Le Petit Canadien ".
Page 132
