contracts, construction schedule, and all applicable laws. The City is responsible for making all <br />direct payments to the Third Party Contractors for work performed on the Project. <br />The work shall be inspected on the Council's behalf by the Council's Project Manager, or other <br />designated Council representative, in accordance with an inspection schedule arranged by <br />Council's Project Manager. The Council shall be responsible for inspection of the Project work. <br />If the Project work is not in conformance with the approved plans and specifications, the Council <br />will inform the City of the specific reasons for non - conformance with the approved plans and <br />specifications, and what steps, in the Council's opinion, must be taken by the City to make the <br />Project work conform. <br />Upon completion of the Project in conformance with the approved plans and specifications, the <br />Council's Project Manager will inform the City in writing of the Council's acceptance of the <br />Project work. The Council will not unreasonably withhold acceptance of the Project work. <br />3.04 Notice of Construction Commencement. Not less than seven (7) days prior to <br />commencement of the Interim Rice Street and Little Canada Transit Hub Project by the <br />Contractor, the City will give written notice to the Council of its intention to commence <br />construction. <br />3.05 Construction Changes. The Council will have the right to review and approve <br />any amendments to or changes in the approved plans, specifications, or final construction <br />documents, including the construction schedule, which affects the Interim Rice Street and Little <br />Canada Transit Hub Project. The City must submit the relevant amendments or changes to the <br />Council at least two (2) business days before the implementation of such amendment or change. <br />The City agrees that it will not proceed with any amendment or change in the approved plans, <br />specifications, or final construction documents which affects the Interim Rice Street and Little <br />Canada Transit Hub Project until the Council has approved such amendment or change. The <br />Council's approval will not be unreasonably withheld. <br />Page 23 <br />
