CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RESOLUTION VACATING DRAINAGE EASEMENT <br />WHEREAS, <br />The City Council of Little Canada has determined to vacate the following: <br />All that part of Lot 2, Block 1, SPROSTY ADDITION, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota, lying south of the North 20 feet and east of the West 20 feet thereof <br />and lying Northwesterly of a line described as being parallel with and distant 100 <br />feet northwesterly from the easterly line of said lot and its southwesterly <br />prolongation. <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />A public hearing was held on September 27, 2000 before the City Council in the City <br />Center after due published and posted notice had been given by the City Administrator, a <br />reasonable attempt was made to give personal notice to all affected property owners, and <br />all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Any person, corporation, or city owning or controlling easements contained upon the <br />property vacated, reserves the right to continue maintaining the same or to enter upon <br />such way or portion thereof vacated to maintain, repair, replace, remove, or otherwise <br />attend thereto; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />It appears that it will be in the best interest of the City to vacate such drainage easement; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Four -fifths of all members of the City Council concur in this resolution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the property as described below is hereby <br />vacated: <br />All that part of Lot 2, Block 1, SPROSTY ADDITION, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota, lying south of the North 20 feet and east of the West 20 feet thereof <br />and lying Northwesterly of a line described as being parallel with and distant 100 <br />feet northwesterly from the easterly line of said lot and its southwesterly <br />prolongation. <br />Page 60 <br />
