County Cost Participation Policy <br />THIS AGREEMENT, by and between the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, a municipal <br />corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City ", and Ramsey County, a political subdivision of <br />the State of Mimnesota, hereinafter referred to as the "County "; <br />WITNESSETFI: <br />WHEREAS, the County and the City desire to reconstruct Little Canada Road (CSAH <br />21) between Trunk Highway 49 and County Road C, the Project, and <br />WHEREAS, this segment of Little Canada Road has been designated by the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation as eligible for certain costs from the County State Aid Highway <br />fund; and <br />WHEREAS, this segment of Little Canada Road has been designated as State Aid Project <br />62-621-06; and <br />WHEREAS, this subject road segment is located within the City of Little Canada and <br />WHEREAS, plans for S.A.P. 62 -621 -06 showing proposed alignment profiles, grades, <br />and cross sections for the improvement of CSAH 21 within the limits of the City as a County <br />State Aid Highway project will be presented to the County; and <br />WHEREAS, the project includes, in addition to other things, grading, paving, concrete <br />curb and gutter, storm sewer, turf establishment, and utility adjustments, and better - ments, street <br />- soaping; and <br />WHEREAS, the grading provisions require acquisition of certain right of way and <br />temporary construction and slope easements prior to construction; and <br />1 <br />Page 50 <br />005 <br />
