Sinclair has a zero
tolerance policy concerning sales of tobacco to minors. The employee involved in the incident,
despite being a long -time employee, was terminated because of the violation, in keeping with
Sinclair's policy. It appears that the employee had poor eyesight and mistook one number for
another in the customers identification.
Thank you in advance for scheduling the hearing before the City Council. We would also
like a copy of the relevant sections from the city code (including §802) which apply to this
violation. You may send those pages via facsimile to my attention at the fax number shown on
this letter.
cc: Donee Kresko
Al Mitchell
Larry Rogers
Very Trul Yours
Mark C.
