City of Little Canada, Minnesota <br />Ordinance <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 903.110 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY <br />CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY PROVIDING FOR SIGN <br />REGULATIONS IN THE B -4, I -P, P, AND PUD DISTRICTS. <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby ordains: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 903.110. E.1. is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />1. "R -1" and "R -2" Residential Districts, and "2 ", Public <br />District: <br />a. Institutional or area identification signs <br />(monument type only), provided that the gross <br />square footage of sign area does not exceed twenty - <br />four (24) square feet and if the sign is <br />freestanding, the height does not exceed eight (8) <br />feet. <br />Section 2. <br />Section 903.110.E.5 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />5. "B -2" through "B -W ", and "I -1" and "I -P" Districts: <br />Section 3. <br />Section 903.110.E. is hereby amended to add the following: <br />E. 6. "PUD" District: <br />Within a POD District, a comprehensive sign plan shall be <br />required which designates the number, type, size, and <br />design of all signs proposed for the PUD project. The <br />aggregate signaae allowed by the PUD sign plan shall be <br />the amount of signaae which would be allowed under <br />903.110.E.5., based on the proposed uses within the PUD <br />and the zoning districts in which each use would be <br />allowed, except as follows: <br />A. Each principal building within a POD shall be <br />allowed one (1) freestanding sign. Multiple tenant <br />buildings shall be allowed a maximum of two (2) <br />freestanding signs. Freestanding signs shall be <br />subject to the regulations of Section 903.110.E.5. <br />Page 38 <br />
