Hanson, City Administrator <br />DATE: May 19, 2000 <br />RE: Salary Scale for Payroll/Utility Billing Clerk <br />With the addition of Jessica Jagoe as the City's Customer Service Specialist/Secretary <br />and the decrease in hours by Kris Pechman, Executive Secretary, there has been a <br />reallocation of job duties in the front office. As a result, Barb Suciu has taken on the <br />functions of utility billing and payroll processing. <br />Given the reclassification of Barb's position as Utility Billing/Payroll Clerk, a new salary <br />scale has been developed for this position (see attached). This salary scale was <br />developed using the Stanton Report and comparing with similar positions in the cities <br />used in our comparison group. <br />Therefore, I would recommend adoption of the attached salary scale for the position of <br />Payroll/Utility Billing Clerk as well as the appropriate salary adjustment for Barb as <br />indicated on the scale. <br />Page 55 <br />
