Hanson, City Administrator <br />DATE: May 17, 2000 <br />RE: Community Development Block Grant — Joint Cooperation <br />Agreement <br />As a requirement of continued eligibility for participation in the Community <br />Development Block Grant Program, HUD is requiring the approval of a second <br />amendment to our Joint Cooperation Agreement. As you will note from Paul Kirkwold's <br />letter attached, the first two paragraphs of the amended agreement clarify existing <br />language in our current agreement. The third paragraph requires adoption of certain law <br />enforcement policies that are already in use by the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department. <br />I will be attaching a letter to HUD clarifying the existence of these policies. <br />If you have any questions regarding the adoption of the amended Joint Cooperation <br />Agreement, please contact me prior to Tuesday's meeting. <br />Page 57 <br />
