Hanson <br />Email: cityhall @ci.little- canada.mn.us <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />FROM: Greg Schroeder, Public Works Director <br />DA1'L: April 13, 2000 <br />RE: Property Division — Twin Lake Shores <br />Klidzejs' April 2, 2000 Letter <br />As indicated in the Klidzejs' April 2"d letter, I toured the site with Mrs. Klidzejs and discussed <br />City maintenance truck access to the sanitary sewer system along Twin Lake. <br />The area along the south side of the proposed lot split is flatter than our easement area and was <br />probably used by City crews in the past. However, I feel the easement we have over our sanitary <br />sewer line is sufficient to meet our needs. The property owner has agreed to increase the <br />easement width from 15 feet to 20 feet and provide a 40 -foot radius at the manhole by the lake. <br />Also, our easement area will be very passable after the gravel underlayment is completed. <br />I have confirmed with the builder (Preferred Builders) that when they do the final grading for the <br />property, they will help us install the fabric /gravel underlayment. The City will pay for the <br />fabric and gravel. The builder will provide the operator and equipment.
