Hanson <br />At the April 26°i meeting of the City Council you offered to dedicate five feet of sanitary <br />sewer easement, for construction purposes only, on your lot adjacent to the existing <br />easement on 3240 Twin Lake Road. As you know, there is currently a 15 foot sanitary <br />sewer easement near the north property line of 3240 Twin Lake Road (see diagram <br />attached). Please note that this easement is not flush with the property line that is shared <br />with your lot. The proposal presented by City staff is to widen the 15 foot easement to 20 <br />feet and make that easement flush with the property line. Therefore, widening the <br />easement to 20 feet does not result in the easement being moved five feet closer to the <br />new house being constructed on 3240 Twin Lake Road, but likely only 1 to 2 feet closer. <br />While the offer of the easement is appreciated, it is the City's position that a 5 foot <br />easement from your property is unnecessary. <br />As a reminder, this property division is scheduled for Council consideration on Tuesday, <br />May 9t1i, at 7:30 p.m. <br />If you have any comments or questions, please call. <br />Sincerely, <br />Hanson <br />ity Administrator <br />Page 3 <br />
